Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, fitness, and spending time with my two gentle dogs—one training as a therapy dog. My reliability, kindness, and adaptability allow me to provide meaningful, professional care that fosters independence and confidence.

I have considerable experience providing various types of support, including community access, personal care, independent living assistance, and meal prep. My approach is centered on building strong relationships with my clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and empowered to achieve their goals.

My name is Joshua, and I am a passionate and enthusiastic ex-professional athlete with a strong background in leadership, teamwork, and adaptability. In 2024, I transitioned into an educational role as an Educational Support Officer at Christian Brothers College, where I provide academic and emotional support to students with special needs, disabilities, or learning difficulties. This role has reinforced my commitment to helping others achieve their full potential and strengthened my ability to connect with and support those around me.

From November 2019 to October 2023, I played for the Hawthorn Football Club, where I developed effective communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to perform well under pressure. My experience as a professional athlete helped me refine my time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, and I take pride in promoting a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Beyond my athletic career, I’ve had the privilege of giving back to the community through private coaching with PlayBook.Coach. I enjoyed organising and delivering personalised coaching sessions for children of all ages, creating tailored training plans to meet their needs. My involvement in AFL Auskick Clinics and Indigenous Programs allowed me to mentor and guide young athletes, helping them develop their skills and a love for the game.

I hold a Diploma of Sports Development from Torrens University (2024). My diverse experiences have equipped me with a unique skill set, and I’m excited to bring my passion, leadership, and collaborative spirit to new opportunities.
